Ellis Stanley "Stan" Napier
(November 11, 1951 - September 20, 2016)



Ellis Stanley “Stan” Napier, 64, of Barboursville, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Patrick Ryan. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born November 11, 1951 in Lincoln County, a son of the late Ellis Harold and Ova Cremeans Napier. He was a retired employee of Cabell County Board of Education with 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by his brother David Napier. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy Porterfield Napier; two sons, Michael Ellis Napier of Huntington and Jonathan Michael Napier of Barboursville; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Elmer Endicott of Salt Rock; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Charlotte Napier of Frazeysburg, OH, Debbie Napier of Scott Depot; two granddaughters, Lakyn and Kinley Napier; aunt and uncle, Mary and Jim Arnold of Milton, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Stan will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
