OTTIE HERBERT LESTER

OTTIE HERBERT LESTER, 76, of Huntington, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Monday, September 26, 2016. He was a Cabell County bus driver for thirty-four years. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Helen, and a devoted son, Ottie and his wife Rosemary. He is also survived by siblings, Thurman, Wetzel Jr., Tennessee, Norma, Lonnie, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wetzel and Cindy, and siblings, Stella, Hiram Lee, Whitt and Charlie. The family would like to give a special thank you to Ottie's caregivers, Todd Lester, St. Mary's Hospital, Arbors at Gallipolis and SOMC Medical Center. Also a thank you to Wallace Funeral Home for being there for us throughout the passing of Ottie. Ottie will be missed and loved by the Wetzel and Cindy Lester family, the Pearl and Jewel Drown family, and everyone who knew him. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with Elder Delmer Adkins and Elder Emual Adkins.
