Billy Mack Gosnay
March 11, 1932 - February 6, 2009



Billy Mack Gosnay, 76, of Ona, WV, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009 at his home. Funeral services will be held for Mr. Gosnay on Monday, February 9, 2009, 2 pm at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington with Rev. Keith Creasy officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington. Born on March 11, 1932 in Huntington, Billy Mack was a son of the late Stephen Gosnay and living mother, Jessie Carper Gosnay. He is also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Gosnay and brother, Clifford Gosnay. He was a retired 40 year employee of CSX Railroad having worked as a computer programmer. In his retirement, he worked with Cabell County Community Services Org. through the Milton Senior Citizens Center delivering meals to seniors in Milton and eastern Cabell County. Besides his mother, survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Frances (Sue) Reece Gosnay; two children, Michael Gosnay and Teresa Malanowski; two sisters, Stephanie Barton and Patricia Boston; a brother Stephen Gosnay; five grandchildren, Daniel Gosnay, David Malanowski, Christine Van Winkle, Jamie Malanowski, and Amanda Malanowski; five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Billy Mack was loved by many for his charm and wit. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Billy Mack's name to the American Cancer Society. Friends and family may call on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington from 4 - 6 pm.
