Emma Holley Gunnoe
March 25, 1909 - February 18, 2009



Emma Holley Gunnoe, 99, of Teays Valley, WV. formerly of Huntington, died Wednesday February 18, 2009 in Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Center, Teays Valley. Funeral service will be conducted 12:30 PM Friday February 20, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington by Rev. Jack Williams and Connie Williams soloist. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Milton., WV. Emma was born March 25, 1909 in Mason, Co., WV. A daughter of the late Phillip & Cora Ashworth Holley. She was a member of The Rock Of Ages United Baptist Church. Emma retired from Wiggins 5th Ave. after 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Gunnoe & 1 sister Zena Moore. Survivors include 1 daughter & son-in-law; Doris Ann & Jack Campbell of Charlotte, NC., 3 grandsons; David Campbell & wife Tammy of Cary, NC., Larry Campbell & wife Alison of Waxhaw, NC., and Mark Campbell & wife Nelida of Charlotte, NC., great grandsons; Todd, Houston & Griffin Campbell, great granddaughters; Holly & Melissa Campbell, sister; Okell Williams of Milton, special nephew Harrison Jenkins & wife Opal and 4 nephews and their wives. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary after 11:30 AM until service time Friday February 20, 2009.
