Ralph Robert "Bud" McAboy, 67, of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in Fountain Head Nursing Home, Franklin Furnace. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, January 16, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Harry Balmer officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. He was born October 7, 1941, in Huntington, WV a son of the late Riley N. and Sheila Flowers McAboy. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth McAboy. Survivors include: three sons, Robbie Michael McAboy, Ralph Robert McAboy, Jr., and Richard Paul McAboy, all of Huntington; three sisters, Patricia Ann Porter of Chesapeake, Ohio, Tina Wiley of Worthington, KY., and Margaret Day of South Point, Ohio;, four brothers, Harry McAboy of Pomeroy, Ohio, Richard McAboy of Charleston, WV, Gary McAboy of Huntington and Jackie Lee McAboy of Charleston;, his companion, Margaret Bias and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
