Darrin K. Adkins

Darrin K. Adkins, 45, of El Mirage, AZ, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at home. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 pm Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Chapman's Mortuary, with Rev. Ray Vance officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. He was born January 15, 1966, in Huntington, WV, a son of Louise Wentz Adkins of El Mirage, AZ, and the late Wilson Van Adkins, Sr. He was a carpenter by trade. Survivors in addition to his mother include: two sisters, Angela Whitney and spouse Jay of Phoenix, AZ, and Margo Adkins and Jim Belcher of Huntington; three brothers, Bill Adkins and wife Debbie of Huntington, Mike Adkins and wife Rhonda of Chesapeake, Ohio and Wilson Van Adkins, Jr. and Stacie of El Mirage, AZ; and several very special nephews. Friends may call one hour prior to service time Sunday at the funeral home.
