Chester Darwin Poole

Chester Darwin Poole, 67, of Huntington, passed away Friday February 4, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 PM Friday February 11, 2011 at Chapman's Mortuary with Jeff Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Bowling Cemetery, Hitchens, KY. Chester was born April 24, 1943 in Huntington, a son of the late Earl C. Poole and Gretchen Johnson Smallridge. He was a former tollbooth operator for the State of West Virginia. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Deedee and Mark Boley of Huntington; two granddaughters, Nikki Hardesty and Brandy Boley, and a great grandson, Ashtyn Genet, all of Huntington; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Lois Poole of St. Petersburg, FL., and David Lee and Pat Poole of Waycross, GA.
