Glenn Eddie Hager, 69, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at his residence. He was born March 10, 1944 in Huntington a son of the late Thelmer Clayton Hager and Sylvia Green Hager. A sister, Karen Hager Davis and two brothers, David Michael Hager and Randy C. Hager, also preceded him in death. He was a retired brick mason with Bricklayers Local #5. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Bellena Harshbarger Hager; a daughter, Deanna Hager of Huntington; a son, Glenn Eddie Hager, Jr. of Huntington; five grandchildren, Amber Blevins, Gary Blevins, Hunter Hager, Liberty Hager, and Justice Dillon Smith; two great grandchildren, Anthony Dial and Shane Blevins; a sister, Phyliss Tarpley of Huntington; two sisters-in-law, Janet Murphy and her husband, Romie Murphy and Carla Hager, all of Huntington; and five nephews, Frankie, Bryan, Shawn, and Joey Murphy and Derrick Hager. A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, April 12, 2013, at Church of God, 2301-10th. Ave. Huntington, WV, with Rev. Owen L. Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 1:00 PM Friday at the church. The family requests no flowers. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
