Patricia Joan Barcus Queen

Patricia Joan Barcus Queen, 73, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday April 16, 2013 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 23, 1939 in Huntington a daughter of the late George Washington and Sarah Ollie Kitchen Griffith. Her two husbands, Marvin Barcus and Winchester Queen, preceded her in death. Patricia was a former Bank Teller for Twentieth Street Bank, and a member of Apostolic Life Cathedral. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Clinton Bolen of Huntington; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Amy Queen of Huntington; two grandchildren, David High and wife, Danielle, of South Point, OH, and Amanda High of Huntington; two sisters, Pauline Wood and Eva Sullivan, both of Huntington; five great grandchildren and her roommate and best friend, Janice Holsten. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Thursday April 17, 2013 at the Apostolic Life Cathedral, Staunton Street, with Pastor Edwin S. Harper officiating. Private burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
