Larry Dale Osburn
(November 16, 1942 - April 3, 2013)



Larry Dale Osburn, 70, of South Point, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the River’s Bend Health Care, South Point, OH. He was born November 16, 1942 in Lavalette, WV, a son of the late Jennings Curtis and Margaret Caroline Schnitzer Osburn. Larry was a disabled veteran and was a member of Central Church of Christ, Chesapeake, OH, American Legion Post 93, Kenova, VFW Post 1064, Huntington, and DAV Chapter 2. Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years, Bea Ann Osburn of South Point; a sister and brother-in-law, Dixie and Glen Adkins of Huntington; a brother and sister-in-law, Harry W. and Donna Osburn of Cleburne, TX; and nieces and nephews, Steven Adkins, Beth Ann Rowse, Theresa Rogers, Shelia Stark, Eddie Hunter, and Greg Hunter. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday April 5, 2013 at Chapman’s Mortuary with Minister Paul Drake officiating. Burial with military graveside rites will be in Crook Cemetery. Friends may visit one hour prior to services on Friday at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington. Donations may be sent to VFW Post 1064 or American Legion Post 93 in his name.
