William Ray Lewis

William Ray Lewis, 66, of Huntington, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born July 29, 1955 in Huntington, a son of the late Rev. Charles Edward and Eva Mae Rose Lewis. His brother, Charles Edward Lewis, Jr., also preceded him in death. He was a veteran of both the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Navy having served during the Viet Nam Era. He later worked as a laborer in the lumber business as well as many other odd jobs. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Eva Charlene "Sheri" Wright and the Rev. Jerry Paul Wright of London, KY.; and his companion, Barbie Walker of Huntington. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family with cremation and no services are planned.
