Darrell Wells
(February 3, 1932 - May 19, 2022)


Darrell Wells


Darrell Wells, 90, of South Point, OH, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022, in Heartland Of Riverview/Promedica. Darrell was born February 3, 1932 in Johnson County, KY a son of the late Willie and Lutie Collins Wells. He retired from Allied Building Products as a warehouse supervisor. Darrell also served in the Air Force, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant after 20 plus years. Darrell was known as a supervisor, a farmer, a teacher, and a soldier, but the "titles" that he was most proud of, were those of husband and father. Survivors include: his wife, Aurora C. Wells; daughter, Norma Jean Wells;, sons, Darrell (Doc) Wells, II and Scottie Lee Wells; a sister, Genene Wells; grandchildren, Britain, Brandon, Justice, and Taylor; great-grandchildren Jasmine, Cain, and Adelaide. Darrell's parents and brothers Bill and Harold Wells preceded him in death. Friends may call from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Chapman's Mortuary.
