Robert Jerry Adkins

Robert Jerry Adkins, 75, of Southside, WV., husband of Ella Vanessa Miller Adkins, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at his residence. He was born November 21, 1946, in Logan, WV, a son of the late George E. and Irene Frances Blackburn Adkins. He had a sister, Virginia "Sis", and a brother, Carl Ray Adkins also precede him in death. He worked for the former Dolin Janitorial Services, cleaning the WSAZ Television Station. In addition to his wife, Ella, survivors include his two sons, Robert Jerry Adkins, Jr. of Logan, WV, and Steven Lawrence Adkins of Huntington; four grandchildren, Zachary Adkins, Tyler Adkins, Alexis Adkins, and Joshua Adkins; and a brother, Thomas Adkins of Logan. Per his wishes he will be cremated and no services will be planned at this time. His memories will live on at the Mountain Lodge of West Virginia. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
