Wanda Lou Doss

Wanda Lou Doss


Wanda Lou Doss, 90 of Ona, formerly of Huntington, widow of Jerry Doss, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Paramount, Midland Place, Ona. She was born June 20, 1932 in Huntington, a daughter of the late John and Lela Morrison Slater. In addition to her husband and parents, two sisters, Mary Jarrell and Rose Robertson, and one brother John Slater, Jr. preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mark and Gwyn Doss of Milton, and Matt Doss of Lexington, VA; 4 grandchildren, Josh Doss (Emily), Kelly Mangino (Chris), Monica Sheppard (Michael), and Tyler Duffield (Amber); 5 great grandchildren, Mason, Wylder, Nolan, John and Carter; and a great granddaughter on the way; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Chapman's Mortuary. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
