Shirley Sue Allen

Shirley Sue Allen, 87, of Eleanor, WV, died Monday November 28, 2022 at Celebration Villa of Teays Valley, Hurricane, WV. Shirley was born September 7, 1935, In Fleming, KY, a daughter of the late Elijah and Mabel Miller Gibson. She was a retired teacher from the Tennessee B.O.E. and Baptist by faith. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Haynes and husband Ray Foster of Huntington; four grandchildren, Cameron Haynes of Eleanor, WV, Chelsie Lykens of Gallatin, TN, Ciera Brodowski of Ashville, NC and Chad Haynes of Greensboro, NC; 11 great grandchildren, Lincoln, Anders, Patton, Juno, Evie, Clara, Emerson, Dax, Huck, Gabriel and Maddox; and several nieces and nephews she was close to. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, December 10, 2022, at East Lawn Memorial Park, Kingsport, TN. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
