William Joseph Clay, Jr
(March 20, 1956 - November 29, 2022)

William "Joe" Clay, Jr, 66, of Huntington, WV, husband of Connie Sue Clay, died Tuesday November 29, 2022 at his residence. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday December 2, 2022 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Darrell Clark officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Joe was born March 20, 1956 in Huntington, WV a son of the late William Joseph and Betty Lou Carson Clay. He was a retired Wielding Instructor from the Cabell County Vocational Center. Also preceding him in death was his sister, Brenda Parker and one son, B.J. Clay III. Additional survivors include one son, Matthew (Tabitha) Clay of Coal Grove, OH, 9 grandchildren including three granddaughters and six grandsons. The family would like to thank Dr. Staci Smith for all her loving care. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM until service time Friday at Chapman's Mortuary.
