Deanna Dell Smith

Deanna Dell Smith, 79, of Huntington, wife of Darrell Lynn Smith, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born February 20, 1943, in Man, WV, Logan County, a daughter of the late Destil and Mary Juanita Dean Carroll. She was a homemaker, a Baptist by faith attending River Cities Community Church, and had graduated from Huntington East High School. In addition to her husband, Darrell, survivors include her three daughters and a son-in-law, Sherri Smith of Irvine, KY., Susan Turner of Beattyville, KY., and Stephanie and Paul King of Richmond, KY; two sisters, Patty Kish of Winchester, KY., and Debbie Vitiello and husband, Sal Vitiello of Ashland, KY; a brother, Larry Carroll and wife, Pat Carroll of Broadway, NC; four grandchildren, Daniel Smith and wife, Misti Smith, Rebekah Smith, Joshua King, and Hannah Dittman and husband, Britton; and six great grandchildren, Braden, Raylan, twin girls, Alanah and Reese, Amber, and Rhett. No services are planned at this time and Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family.
