Earl Eugene Newman
(May 31, 1926 - February 3, 2013)



Earl E. Newman, 86, of Prichard, WV went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 2, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Workman; Burial will follow at the Cloice Hatten Cemetery, Prichard, WV He was born on May 31, 1926 a son of the late Clovis and Della Alley Newman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Lowell and Jack Newman and sister Velma McGhee. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Frankie Pauline Newman, one son and daughter in law: Dan and Janice Newman of Prichard, WV, a daughter and son in law Joyce and Larry Keith of Kenova, WV, grandchildren Jason and Brianna Newman, Chad (JeAnnie) Keith and Derek (Nicki) Keith, great grandchildren: Shelby, Jacob, Madison and Molly Keith, a brother and sister in law: Bill and Jean Newman and several nieces and nephews. Earl was a staff sergeant in the US Air Force. He retired from the Herald Dispatch with 32 years of service. He was a graduated of Buffalo High School, and a lifelong member and deacon of the Upper Gragston Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Reger Funeral Home. The family would like to thank his Hospice nurses; Dennis, Donna and Andy for their wonderful care and concern. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Hospice of Huntington or the Wayne County Gideon’s Int. PO Box 11, Lavallette, WV 25535 in his memory.
