Lacy Stone
(April 17, 1925 - February 22, 2013)



LACY STONE, 87, of Huntington, West Virginia left this life on Friday, February 22, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Buffalo Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Buffalo Creek Road, Huntington, West Virginia with Pastor Kim L. Stone, Pastor Larry S. Mullens and Pastor Tim Jayne officiating. Burial will be in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, West Virginia. Lacy was born April 17, 1925 in Paint Creek, West Virginia, a son of the late Elsworth and Francis Stone. He was retired from Aristech Chemical. He attended Buffalo Valley Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a US Navy Veteran, having served during World War II. Survivors include his beloved wife of 64 years, Lula Mae Skeens Stone; two children Beverly and Gary Bailey and Kim and Lugene Stone of Huntington, West Virginia. Three grandchildren, Lacy Leanne and Mark Wilson, Angela and Brandon Huff, and Dustin and Sara Stone; one sister, Nora Stone Stewart, one nephew Eugene Noble; and four great grand children, (who was the joy of his life), Lacy MarLeah, KimberLynn Hope, Titus Stone Wilson and Bryson Timothy Stone; and three more on the way, Baby Wilson, Baby Huff, Baby Stone. He also leaves behind several other family members and a host of friends. Family and friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday, February 25, 2013 at Reger Mortuary and from noon until service time at the church on Tuesday. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Lacy at P. O. Box 8, Milton, West Virginia 25541.
