Obituary

JOYCE ANN ADKINS
(July 27, 1934 - September 25, 2014)

JOYCE ANN ADKINS, 80, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away Friday, September 26, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2014 at Nestlow United Baptist Church by Rev. A.J. Perry and Rev. Jamie Clay. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. She was born July 27, 1934 in Sullivan, Ky., a daughter of the late John and Emma Gibson Oliver. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Chester Joyce and her husband, Luther Adkins. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Bell of Fenton, Mich.; son, Ward Vance Jr. of N.C.; half brother, Kenneth Joyce of N.C.; step-children, Carolyn Sue Mullins and Nora Linda Plybon; grandchildren, Ashleigh LaJoice and Lorna Bell; great-grandchildren, Michael Jr., Emma, and Madelyn; and special sister-in-law, Delpha Walker for her care and kindness during mom's illness. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at the home of Delpha Walker, 784 Shingles Branch Rd, East Lynn, WV and after noon Monday at the church. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.
