Obituary

SHARLINE HALL BOWEN
(September 12, 1928 - September 11. 2014)

SHARLINE HALL BOWEN, 85, of Barboursville, passed away September 11, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor James Jobe. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born September 12, 1928 in Barboursville, a daughter of the late Ernest Douton and Hazel Cyrus Kuhn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Harold, Bobby, Ledford and Hank Kuhn and sister, Joannie Faller. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Alva Bowen Jr.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Freddie Hinkle of Barboursville and Patricia and Jimmy Wysong of Hurricane; one son, Pakie Bowen of Barboursville; one brother, Lonnie Kuhn of Barboursville; three grandchildren, Melissa Bowen, Pat (Kristi) Bowen and Randy (Whitney) Wysong; and seven great-grandchildren, Craig Ross, Kayla Ross, Cameron Ross, Makenna Bowen, Landyn Bowen, Jaycee Bowen and Khloe Wysong. A very special thanks to Ruth Jefferson, Mildred Jenkins, Melita Knight, Kathy Black and Karla Ross. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
