Lois Helen Sullivan
(December 20, 1936 - September 8, 2014)



Lois Helen Sullivan, 77, of Huntington, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born December 20, 1936 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Rhynard Hale and Mary Plybon Hale. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Alfonzo Dale Sullivan and three brothers, Gary, Charles and Jim Hale. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robbie and Treva Sullivan of Lavalette and Steve Sullivan of Huntington; two sisters, Pauline Christian and her husband Tom of Huntington and Shelba Darst of Huntington; three special grandchildren, Stephanie, Analyn, Robert and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Plybon Cemetery. According to Helen's wishes, there will be no visitation. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for their care and kindness during their mother's time at the Hospice House. Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville is assisting the family with arrangements.
