Danny Alan Rucker
(February 4, 1950 - September 23, 2014)

Danny Alan Rucker, 64, of Milton, passed away September 23, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. He was born February 4, 1950, in Charleston, to the late Donald D. Rucker and Norma L. Kennedy Rucker Duncan and stepfather Charles E. Duncan. Danny was a lifelong Christian and loved the Lord. He graduated in 1968 from St. Albans High School. He served in the U.S. Navy. He last worked for Sikorsky Support Services in Meridian, MS as a tire mechanic and was medically retired. Survivors include two sons and their wives, Sean L. and Sara Rucker of Nitro and Chris A. and Ethel Rucker of Winfield; five grandchildren, Ashley, Hali, Dustin, Elizabeth, Destiny, Harley and Tyler; and one great-granddaughter, Emaleigh. Danny is also survived by two sisters and their husbands, Melinda and Tommy Lupton of Salt Rock, and Donna and David Brillhart of Jonesborough , TN; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved. A private family graveside service will be held at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans at a later date. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville is serving the Rucker family.
