Obituary

SHIRLEY NAOMI CHRISTIAN
(January 18, 1929 - April 29, 2016)

Our beloved mother and grandmother, SHIRLEY NAOMI CHRISTIAN, 87, of Barboursville, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 29, 2016. She was born January 18, 1929 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Kenneth Nicholas and Wilma White Nicholas Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Larry Adkins, a brother, Richard Nicholas, an infant granddaughter, Laura Elizabeth Smith, and a son-in-law, Danny Jordan Sr. She was a former employee of Owens Illinois and was a member of Elmwood Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Lynda Lee Jordan of Barboursville and Debbie Myers and her husband "Butch" of Proctorville; six grandchildren, Danny Jordan Jr., James Jordan, Steven Jordan, Gary Smith, David Smith, and Leslie Smith; and several great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at noon Monday, May 2, 2016 at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Rick Glass officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, in charge of arrangements.
