Obituary

Florence Willadean Johnson
(May 16, 1928 - April 19, 2016)

Florence “Willie” “Nan” Willadean Johnson, 87, of Barboursville, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Bob Johnson and Rev. Greg Creasy. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. She was born May 16, 1928 in Belle, WV, a daughter of the late James Henry and Ella Elizabeth Comer Hicks. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Franklin Johnson. She is survived by two daughters, Shelia Kay Justice and Ella Louise “Lulu” and Kenny Bowen and one son, John Johnson all of Barboursville; one brother, Jimmie Lee “Flea” and Barbara Hicks of Huntington; two grandchildren, Misty Corns and John Bowen; three great-grandchildren, Tesla Corns, Jenna Dillman, and Sadie Bowen. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
