Donna Lee Hagley
(December 31, 1937 - December 2, 2018)

Donna Lee Hagley Adkins, “Nana” 80, of Branchland, WV, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Bethlehem United Baptist Church, Branchland, by Rev. Jamie Clay and Rev. Garland Perry. Burial will be in Marion Adkins Cemetery. She was born December 31, 1937, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Ernest and Sadie Nottingham Hagley. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Ernest Hagley II, one sister, Dorla Sowards, and son, Charles William Adkins. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Desmel Edward “Ebbo” Adkins; one daughter, Rebecca Lee Adkins of Branchland; one sister and brothers-in-law, Diann and Larry Blake of Barboursville and Richard Sowards of Lucoma, NC; sister-in-law, Nelma Criner of Gahanna, OH; three grandchildren who she dearly loved, Beth Fields of Wilson, NC, Sonya (Andrew) Beckett of Altizer, WV and Eddie (Bethany) Adkins of Ona, WV; three great-grandchildren, Chase Fields of Wilson, NC and Gaige Beckett and Emitt Beckett of Altizer, WV. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville and after 12:00 noon Thursday at the church.
