Johnie Sexton
(February 2, 1925 - December 6, 2018)


Johnie Sexton, 93 of Barboursville, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Ray Vance and Eugene Byrd. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was February 2, 1925 in Logan, County, a son of the late Fred and Orpha Bailey Sexton. Johnie was a member of 5th Ave. Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esta Gue Sexton. He is survived by his daughter, Gloria Bias, son, Louie Sexton, both of Barboursville; grandchildren, Lawona Ferris, with whom he made his home, Linville Dale Bias, Amber Ferris Fitzpatrick, Joshua Dale Ferris, Jordan Estep, Jeremiah Estep, Destiny Ferris, Jackson Ferris, Karcie Ferris, Mason Ferris, and Teagan Fitzpatrick and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
