Obituary

Roy James Queen
(August 24, 1936 - December 16, 2018)

Roy James "Jim" Queen, 82, of Lexington, KY, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Baptist Health Lexington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Mike James. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock. He was born August 24, 1936, in Barboursville, a son of the late Albert and Marie Smith Queen. He was preceded in death by one son, Roy James Queen Jr. and an infant daughter. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Jean Adkins Queen; son, John Edward Queen and future daughter-in-law, Deborah Ann Crace of Salyersville, KY; sister, Oweda “Peachie” Rayburn of Barboursville; and grandchildren, John Bradley, Trevor Allen, and Trace Hunter Queen. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
