Helen Jeanne Harold
(November 7, 1925 - January 22, 2019)



Helen Jeanne Harold, 93, of Guyan Estates, Barboursville, died January 22, 2019, at Heritage Center, Huntington. She was born November 7, 1925, in Huntington, the daughter of the late Alben N. and Clara Williams Duvall. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 71 years, Donald R. Harold, a son-in-law, George E. Parker, and her precious cat, Muffin. She was a charter member of Grace Gospel Church where she taught Sunday school in the Primary Department for many years. She lived in Cary, NC, nineteen years before moving back to WV. While there, she was employed at O'Neal Chrysler in Raleigh and was pianist at Bethel Baptist Church in Cary. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Charlie) McGuire of Huntington, and Susan (Bob) Luther of Glenwood; three grandsons, Dr. Jeffery (Heather) Parker of Huntington, Michael (Julie) Parker of Estero, FL, and Bob (Rachel) Luther of Ona; two granddaughters, Kimberly Luther of Glenwood and Amy (Fred) Daniels of Barboursville; eleven great-grandchildren, Bryson, Jackson, Colson, and Ethan Parker, Tiffany, Justin (Ashley) and Josie Pratt, Anneliese, Cheyenne, and Alex Luther, and Holly Daniels; one great-great grandson, Connor Pratt; and a sister, Jean (Merritt) Curtis. A private family service will be held. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is handling the arrangements.
