Forrest "Red" Arthur Villars, 97, of Barboursville, West Virginia went home to be with Margie, his wife of 68 years, on January 26, 2019. He was born December 30, 1921 in Cabell County, WV, oldest son of the late William and Garnett Villars. He was a graduate of Milton High School, a World War II Navy veteran, an employee of Blenko Glass, Happy Hall Lumber Co. and retired from C & P Telephone Co. in 1980 with 35 years’ service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Wooten of Culloden, WV, two infant girls and one son Michael Stephen Villars. Forrest is survived by his brother Berkley Villars of Culloden, WV; sister Bertha Buckner of Ona, WV; three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Janet Villars of Winchester, Ky., Jim and Carol Villars of Dayton Beach, Fl., and Greg and Kim Villars of Barboursville, WV; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
