Margarett Ann Tinkham
(April 20, 1939 - January 30, 2019)


Margarett Ann Tinkham, 79, of South Point, Ohio and Northern California, was ushered into Heaven January 30, 2019 from The Village at Riverview in Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Larry L. Barker Jr. and Rev. Gavin Napier. Burial will be private in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. She was born April 20, 1939, in Pikeville, KY, a daughter of the late John and Ella Buckley. She was a graduate of South Point High School, Class of 1957. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, James Buckley and his wife, Evelyn and two brothers-in-law, Wayne Clinton and William Gibson. She is survived by her husband, Lester “Les” Tinkham; one daughter, Cynthia Bjerklie of Dorchester, NH; two sisters, Luthella Clinton of Ironton, Ohio and Patty Gibson of Wyandotte, MI; one granddaughter, Amanda Ford; and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Charlotte Ford. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
