Daisy A. "Sue" Black
 (September 1, 1940 - June 29, 2009)

Daisy A. "Sue" Black, 68, of Huntington, wife of James R. "Bob" Black, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. She was born September 1, 1940 in Proctorville, OH, a daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Edna Christine Phillips Edwards. Her son, Robert S. Black also preceded her in death. She was a former cashier at Thornburg's Market. Additional survivors include a grandson, James Maxwell Black of Huntington; a brother and sister-in-law, Fred "Fritz" Edwards and Beverly Edwards of Mount Vernon, OH; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Mary Black of Huntington; and a niece, Mindy Darrah of Proctorville, OH. There will be no services for the public, and in lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to Hospice of Huntington.
