Loretta Jane Thompson
(December 15, 1933 - June 21, 2009)



Loretta Jane Thompson, 75, of Huntington, widow of Crosbie Ray Thompson, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2009 in Saint Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary with Rev. Terry Stonaugle officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lincoln County. She was born December 15, 1933 in Lincoln County, WV, a daughter of the late William and Virgie Bryant Skeens. One son, Larry Dane Thompson and several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bill and Jill Thompson of Saginaw, MI., and David Thompson of Huntington; three grandchildren, Chassity and Robert Allison of Ft. Valley, GA., Amanda Thompson and Joshua Thompson both of Saginaw, MI.; one sister, Eleanor Weaver of Hamiln, WV, and one brother, Leo Skeens also of Hamlin. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Chapman's Mortuary.
