Curtis Delain Pledger, 83, of Apple Grove, WV, died Thursday November 5, 2009 in the V.A. Regional Medical Center, Huntington, WV. Curtis was born June 1, 1926 in Clarksville, Ark. a son of the late John L. & Delia A. Davis Pledger. He was a welder by trade and Church of Christ by faith. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter Lora Jean Barrett. Survivors include his wife Margaret Earnestine Moore Pledger, 4 daughters, Joyce Ann Fitzpatrick of Indianapolis, In., Margie Deal & Trudy Hatten both of Huntington & Edith Lynn Serrano of Springdale, Ark., 2 sons, Randy Pledger of Oregon & Curtis Leon Minnick of Quandilla, Australia, 1 sister Betty Hinds of Springdale, Ark. and numerous loving grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
