Helen Rogers

Mrs. Helen V. Rogers, 89, of Huntington, widow of John T. Rogers, passed away Wednesday November 11, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born January 27, 1920 at Winfield, WV, a daughter of the late John and Alberta Childers Edwards. She was a retired Cook with the Cabell County Schools, and was a member of Highlawn Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Daniels. Surviving are 2 daughters, and a son-in-law; Frances Kay Christian, of Huntington, Cindy and Willard Camp, of Glenwood, WV, a son and daughter-in-law, Philip Dale and Peggy Roach, of Los Altos, CA; a sister, Vivian Ward of Elida, OH; son-in-law, Gene Daniels, of Barboursville, WV; grandchildren, Perry Daniels of Culloden, WV, Phyllis Combs of Huntington, Sharon Webb, of Old Town, KY, and Thomas Christian, of Milton, WV; 8 great grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary from 4pm until 7pm Saturday, November 14, 2009..
