Peggy Jean Cremeans
(June 26, 1931 - August 13, 2013)


Peggy Jean Cremeans, 82, of New Port Richey, FL, formerly of Huntington, WV and Proctorville, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013, in Zephyrhills, FL. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, August 19, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, with Ernie Ritchie officiating. Entombment will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Abbey of Peace, Huntington. Peggy was born June 26, 1931 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late Roy Adkins and Ethel Davis Bush. Her husband, Edwin L. Cremeans, Sr., a son, Tug Cremeans; two sisters, Elizabeth Armstrong and Charlotte Ann Dyer; and a brother, Tommy Adkins, also preceded her in death. She was a former salesperson for Mack and Dave’s, Huntington, and had formerly worked at Chapman’s Mortuary. Survivors include: two sons, Jay (Ann) Cremeans of New Port Richey, FL and Lewis Cremeans; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma Jarrell of Huntington and Katherine Flannery of Phoenix, AZ; and a brother, Fred (Sally) Adkins of Fairfax, VA. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, August 18, 2013, at Chapman’s Mortuary.
