Kathleen Elaine Hardesty
(August 4, 1933 - August 7, 2013)



Kathleen E. Hardesty 80, Of Huntington, widow of Billy Ray Hardesty, died Wednesday August 7, 2013 in Saint Mary’s Medical Center. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, August 12, 2013 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor Leo Skaggs officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park. She was born August 4, 1933 in Huntington a daughter of the late Jack Goodman and Mabel Estep Goodman. A grandchild also preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Terry Blevins of Barboursville; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Phillip and Pat Hardesty of Ft. Lauderdale FL, Robert and Kathy Hardesty of Huntington, and Carl Hardesty of Bell Buckle, TN; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a half brother George Goodman, and a half sister Patty Chapman. Friends may call from noon to service time Monday at the funeral home.
