Mrs. Nell Grace Harper, 101, formerly of Huntington, passed away, Friday, August 30, 2013 at The Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility, Ashland, KY. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Monday September 2, 2013 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Ernie Ritchie officiating. Entombment will be at Woodmere Memorial Park, Tuesday, September 3, 2013. She was born, December 24, 1911, at Blane, WV, a daughter of the late Fred and Martha Cyrus Thompson. She was a former billing clerk at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Also preceding her in death were her husbands, William “Bill” Grace and Jack Harper, and a daughter , Kay Grace Gothe. Surviving are 3 daughters, Peggy R. Pauley of Louisa, KY, Betty J. Vanaman of Wheeling, WV, Marcia J. Brunty of Union, KY, a son, Billy E. Grace, of Landeville, IN 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary from 4 pm until 6 pm, Sunday, September 1, 2013.
