Larry Dale Burley
(June 7, 1947 - February 22, 20140



Larry Dale Burley, age 66, ended his earthly journey on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. Larry was born on June 7, 1947 in Kenova, WV a son of the late Robert and Leona Ruth Burley. He was a lifelong resident of Wayne County, WV and retired from the Huntington Sanitary Board as a Supervisor. He was a member of the Madison Avenue Christian Church. Larry was preceded in death by his wife Grace Noffsinger Burley and a daughter, Jennifer Burley Martin. He is survived by two children, Robert (Candy) Burley of Barboursville, WV and LeAnn Burley of Huntington, WV and two brothers; David (Lynn) Burley of Shelbyville, TN and Clinton (Melissa) Burley of Kenova, WV. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Amelya (Justin) Burley Harmon, Haley Martin and Zoee Burley of Huntington, WV, Anna Burley, Haleigh Hogue and Andrew Hogue of Barboursville, WV and Nicholas Burley of Columbus, OH and one great grandchild, Greyson Harmon of Huntington, WV. Larry also leaves a host of more distant family members and countless friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Reger Funeral Home in Huntington, WV. A celebration of his life will follow at 7:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel. The service will be led by Pastor Jamie Gump. A private family internment service will be conducted the following day at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made either to the Madison Avenue Christian Church Sound System Fund or Hospice of Huntington.
