Franklin Delano Roosevelt Little
(June 30, 1933 - February 28, 2014)



Franklin Delano Roosevelt Little, 80, of Crum, WV, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. He was born June 30, 1933, in Cassie, WV, a son of the late Carl and Blanche Cassidy Little. He was preceded in death by siblings Oretha Farmer Kirk, Romaine Mills, Helen Jones, Ernestine Copley, James Little, and Carl K. Little, Jr. He is survived by siblings Yvonne McCoy of Kenova, WV, and Betty (Richard) Konieczko of Columbus, Ohio. In addition, Mr. Little is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends. Mr. Little, owner of Little’s Cash Store in Crum, WV, retired in 2006, but continued to be active as owner and operator of Tug Valley Farms, also in Crum, WV. Mr. Little was an active member of the Crum community until 2010. He was a member of the First Steptown Baptist Church. Mr. Little was also a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served faithfully during the Korean War. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel, Huntington, with a committal service to follow at 1:30 pm Tuesday at the Mountain View Memory Gardens, Maher, WV. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home, 1242 Adams Ave., Huntington, WV.
