Obituary

James Edward Marcum
(March 21, 1959 - February 23, 2014)



James Edward Marcum, 54, of Huntington, passed away Sunday February 23, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Thursday at the Jefferson Ave. Church of God by Pastor Greg Tomlinson and Pastor Paul Farley. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kenova, WV. He was born March 21, 1959 in Huntington, WV, a son of Sandra Lee Boley Marcum Chadwick of Huntington and the late Charles Edward Marcum. He was a former employee of the City of Huntington Water Treatment Plant. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Robert and Mae Marcum and Maternal grandparents James and Alma Boley and a nephew Jason Marcum. Additional survivors include a brother and sister in law Charles “Chip” and Karen Marcum of Killeen, Texas; two sisters and brothers in law Robin and Mike Pennington of Killeen, TX and Cindee and Jeff Lewis of Bristo, Vermont, several nieces and nephews and special “Little Buddy” Isaiah Langley. Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
