Glenna Jeffers McComas
(September 30, 1919 - February 12, 2016)



Glenna Jeffers McComas, 96, of Huntington, WV, passed away February 12, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Rev. Ray Vance. Burial will be in McComas-Adkins Cemetery, Midkiff, WV. She was born September 30, 1919 in Lincoln County, WV, a daughter of the late John Calvin and Alice Thomas Jeffers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman L. McComas; sisters, Lou Brock, Alta Porter and Dinah Salmons, brothers Emones, Edgar, Luther, Ellis, Stacy and Talmage Jeffers; granddaughter, Donna Adkins; grandson, Gary Dewayne McComas; son-in-law, Russell Perry Adkins. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Adkins of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Calvin Edgar and Tina McComas of Huntington; grandchildren and spouses, Tracy and John W. Angle, Terri and Chris Pemberton, Michael and Melissa McComas, Russell Adkins, Jr., and Bethany; great-grandchildren, Erin Pemberton, Russell Adkins, III, Madeline Adkins, John Angle and Anna Angle. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Heritage Center for their kindness and care of their mother during the last few months. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
