N. Ruth Triplett
(December 18, 1941 - February 11, 2016)


N. Ruth Triplett, 74, of Huntington, formerly of Salt Rock, WV, passed away February 11, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. She was born December 18, 1941 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Chilton “Chilt” and Reva Hatfield Childers. She was a former member of Upper Madison United Baptist Church and a current and faithful member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and trusted him for everything. She was always ready to do God’s work and help those in need. She wanted her family and friends to serve the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Edward Triplett. She is survived by two daughters, Dr. Kimberly Dawn Triplett, of Proctorville, OH and April Denise Hipes (John), of Pt. Pleasant; one brother, Michael Childers of Huntington and eight grandchildren, Ellen Ruth Phillips, Ethan Patrick Phillips, Jamison Edward Lauder, Madigan, Mathias, Katelyn, John Landon and Alea Hipes; two special great-nieces, Megan and Julie Childers; goddaughters, Lori Beth and Melanie Baker and a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to the Prader-Willi Association at 8588 Potter Park Drive, Suite 500, Sarasota, FL 34238.
