Wilburn Bias
(October 5, 1933 -- June 13, 2009)


Mr. Wilburn H. Bias 75, of Lesage, husband of Patricia Pace Bias, passed away Saturday June 13, 2009 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Chapman's Mortuary with Rev. Max Spurlock officiating.
Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park. He was born October 5, 1933 at Henlawson, WV, a son of the late Fenley and Virgie Saunders Bias. He was the owner/operator of Bias Blueprinting, and was a veteran serving with the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Bias. Surviving are his wife, a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Stuart Crickmer, of Florence, KY; their children, Tara, David, Matthew, and Alex; a son and daughter-in-law Mark and Lisa Bias of Ona, WV and their children, Steven and Christopher; a great grandchild, Victoria; 2 sisters, Lenora Bias of Lesage, Wilma Clark of Palatka, FL; and 3 brothers, Dale Bias of Morristown, TN, Paul Bias of Huntington, and Fred Bias of Lesage, WV. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary from 6 pm until 9 pm Monday, June 15, 2009. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard.
