Jerry Roland Workman

Jerry Roland Workman, 66, of Huntington, WV, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born December 22, 1943 in Huntington, a son of the late Edward Workman, Sr., and Lillie Maxwell Workman. A sister, Patricia Jarvis and two brothers, Larry Workman and John David Workman also preceded him in death. He was Baptist by faith and a carpenter for Carpenters Local 302. Survivors include two sisters, June Dean and Linda Varnum, both of Huntington; two brothers, Edward Workman, Jr., and wife Jerrie of Proctorville, OH, and Frank R. and Lora Workman of Lesage; a sister-in-law, Betty Workman, and several nieces and nephews, Bobby and Ann Workman, Sarah Murray, Lisa and Brent Conkright, Mark Workman, Sandra Graybeal, Drew Varnum, Will Varnum, Christine Varnum, C.O. Burks, and Heather Columber. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Highland Cemetery, Huntington, with Minister Bobby Hale officiating. Friends may call one half hour prior to service time Wednesday at the cemetery. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
