Quilla Emogene Jeffers, 87, of Huntington, WV, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, October 21, 2013, at the Christus Chapel Mausoleum, White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV, with Ernie Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow. She was born December 6, 1925 in Clay, WV a daughter of the late Patrick M. and Lenna Holcomb Mullins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd T. Jeffers; a sister, Ruth Koch; and two brothers, Recil Mullins and Russell Mullins. Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Michelle Jeffers of Hillsboro, WV; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and William Triest of Huntington; four sisters, Ina Bailey of Massillon, OH, Reva King of Boliver, OH, Doris Moore of Louisville, OH, and Wilma Fitzwater of Lizemores, WV; five grandchildren, Patrick Jeffers of Parkersburg, WV, Jennifer Jeffers Cantor of New Orleans, LA, Carrie Jeffers Fleshman of Charleston, WV, Kevin Jeffers of Columbus, OH, and Jessica Jeffers of Silver Spring, MD; and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington.
