Joyce N. Allie, 85, of Proctorville, OH, died Monday September 16, 2013 at her residence. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday September 20, 2013 at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington with Pastor David Cartwright officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. Joyce was born February 24, 1928 in Logan County, WV a daughter of the late Frank & Clara Mannich Smith. She was retired from the former C & P Telephone Co., a member of the Crossroads United Methodist Church and the Paw Taw Square Dance Club of Huntington. One son preceded her in death A. Michael Allie. Survivors include her husband; of 63 years, Albert E. Allie, one son, David Allie, M.D. of Lafayette, LA, one sister, Camille Smith of Banning, CA, one brother, William “Bill” Smith of Oxford, AL, five grandsons and three granddaughters. Friends may call after 1:00 PM Friday at Chapman’s Mortuary.
