Mary Vivian Perdue
(December 15, 1918 - September 25, 2013)



Mary Vivian Perdue 94, of Huntington, WV, widow of William F. Perdue, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 in Saint Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, September 27, 2013 at Chapman’s Mortuary with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens Barboursville. She was born December 15, 1918, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Ross and Lettie Curtis Skeens. Two sisters, Alice Bevins and Florence Taraskewicz, and two brothers, Thomas and John Skeens also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Ben Bays of Huntington; two grandchildren and their spouses, Benjamin Shane and Nicole Bays, and Amanda and Greg Gilkerson also of Huntington; six great-grandchildren, Haley Bays, Nikohlas Bays, Hunter Bays, Gavin Gilkerson, Todd and Brannon Harris; a special niece Janet White, and a special friend Bobbi Saurborne both of Huntington. Friends may call from noon to service time Friday at the funeral home.
