Obituary


William Harold "Bud" Boswell, Jr., 77, of West Columbia, WV, husband of Evelyn June Rollins Boswell, died Thursday, July 8, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born December 21, 1943 in Leon, WV, a son of the late William Harold Boswell and Emma Louise Robinson Boswell. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Bobby Joe Roush and two brothers, Roger Boswell and Dale Boswell. Bud was a retired truck driver and also drove for a concrete company. In addition to his wife June, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn Amanda and Scott Owen Jordan of Ravenswood, WV; a grandson, Carl Roush of Grove City, OH; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Norma Jean and Dennis Howell of Rutland, OH, and Ruth Marie Dunham of Leon, WV; and three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Richard and Leona Boswell and James and Rhonda Boswell, all of West Columbia, WV, and Ray Boswell of Gallipolis Ferry, WV. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting the family and no services are planned.
