Brenda Sue Jarrell


Brenda Sue Jarrell, 63, of Lesage, WV, wife of William Junior Jarrell, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted 5:00 PM Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Chapman's Mortuary with Rev. Hewlett Trogdon officiating. Brenda was born July 27, 1957 in Gallipolis, OH, a daughter of the late Corbet Dewey and Magdelean Frances Swain Oldaker. Additional family that have preceded her in death are her daughter, Magdelean Rena Henson; a sister, Marsha Miracle; and a brother, Carl Oldaker. She was a loving mother, a homemaker, and attended Community Holiness Chapel in Lesage, WV. In addition to her husband, William, of 43 years, survivors include her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Wayne and Cheree Jarrell, William and Jesica Jarrell, and David Jarrell; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Louella Smith, and Mary and James Harper; nephew, Carl Anthony and his son, Carl; ten grandchildren, Brayden, Hallie, Titus, Breianna, Mikey, Will, Hannah, Maddie, Sadie, and Sam; and many other nephews and cousins. Friends may visit 4:00-5:00 PM Thursday at Chapman's Mortuary.
